Gain a New Understanding of your Health with a Blood Test Interpretation Report
Note* This service is independent of a consultation.

You know the story - you go to the doctor because you're not feeling great. Your doctor orders some basic bloods, looks at the results and tells you everything is "normal" - but is that actually true?
It could be that there is indeed a problem lurking, there is something pointing to the root cause of your symptoms, it just isn't being interpreted correctly or taken seriously. This is especially true when it comes to nutrition status.

Doctors are medical professionals, they aren't nutritionists. I've lost count of the number of times I've picked up on problems that were previously missed. Nutritionists can pick up on things that have been missed and we always take into account your individual health, not just assess your results based on the seriously outdated lab reference ranges (that are actually based off averages of the whole population, and unfortunately, most of our population is not in the optimal state of health).

As a Clinical Nutritionist, Breeanna interprets blood tests differently and in great detail to discover what is often missed. Your results are assessed against optimal ranges rather than the GP/labs reference ranges.

How does it work?
1. Book in a "Blood Test Interpretation"
2. Once booked, email your most recent (ideally within the last month) blood results, along with any blood result history.
3. Results - Your results will be interpreted and you will receive a report clearly explaining what each result means, with basic recommendations to rectify any imbalances or nutrient deficiencies. Turn around is 3-7 days.

**Further consultation and/or prescriptions may be required depending on your results and will incur additional costs.

What if I don't have recent blood results?

If you don’t have recent blood test results you can either :

-
Book in with a GP and ask for a routine blood test, this may be partially or fully covered by medicare.
The tests I generally recommend are:
-Full Blood Count (FBC)
-Electrolyte & Liver Function (E/LFT)
-Iron Panel
-Full Thyroid Panel (TSH, T3, T4, Thyroid antibodies)
-Folate
-Active B12
-Vitamin D
-Copper
-Zinc
-CRP
-Homocysteine

If hormonal issues are present, I also recommend as a minimum:
- FSH (test 5-7 days after ovulation)
- LH (test 5-7 days after ovulation)
- Oestrogen (test 5-7 days after ovulation)
- Progesterone (test 5-7 days after ovulation)
-Testosterone

Or:

-
Book in for a complimentary discover call, where we can briefly discuss what tests I recommend specifically for you, and then I order the tests via an independent lab (with no need for your to consult with your doctor). This gives us more freedom and control over what tests are ordered. These tests however are out of pocket and vary in price.
-
After you go and get the tests done, book in for an initial consultation. These blood test results will then be sent to me, I will analyse the results.
-
Your blood test report will then be included as part of your initial consultation.
